Program: “Payahuunader: Land of the Flowing Waters”

In celebration of Earth Day, Teri Red Owl, Executive Director of the Owens Valley Indian Water Commission, and Kathy Jeffers-Bancroft, Paiute-Shoshone community leader, will relate their personal stories, explain the water issues of their California tribes, and talk about the future of natural resources in the United States. Prior to the program, a list of resources will be sent to members who wish to prepare for this discussion. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
