October 23, 2018                    RBG :  A Documentary

At the age of 84, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed a breathtaking legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. RBG is a revelatory documentary exploring her exceptional life and career and in doing so, gives viewers a deep and multi-layered sense of the times in which she has lived and the cultural forces she has had to struggle against to achieve what she has.
Because RBG is not covered by Gail Borden Library’s public performance licenses, Reel Women would like to thank Elgin Area AAUW, State Representative Anna Moeller, Elgin Township Supervisor Franklin Ramirez and Kim Gilmore for providing the financing so that we could show this not-to-be-missed.
