Tuesday, September 26, 2017:  Sunset Boulevard (1950) with Gloria Swanson & William Holden. Directed by Billy Wilder, this film takes a very era-appropriate look at how a May-December relationship between an older woman and a younger man is still considered an outsider in the film world. Sunset Boulevard was nominated for eleven Academy Awards and won three. In 1998, it was ranked number twelve on the America Film Institute’s list of the 100 best American films of the 20th century, and in 2007, it was 16th on their 10th Anniversary list.
